Job Type: Permanent position | Full time position Electrical Engineering Design Draftsperson Planning, designing, programming power monitoring systems and equipment Preparing drawings, plans and diagrams of electrical installations and circuitry Using software to create technical drawings and plans for electrical systems Design verification to AS61439 Conducting discrimination studies Assisting Electrical Engineers and Engineering Technologists in design and layout of electrical installations and circuitry on substations, switchgear, cabling systems and motor control systems Coordinating with the Engineer to convert designs into blueprints and ensure they meet the requirements Collecting data, performing tests and complex calculations, graphing results, preparing charts and tabulations estimating materials costs and quantities Inspecting designs and finished products for compliance with specifications and regulations Assembling, installing, testing, calibrating, modifying, and repairing electrical equipment and installations to conform with regulations and safety requirements Undertaking electrical workshop functions such as installing assemblies for protection relays, metering and indicating devices Assisting with research and experimentation programmes Skills and Experience Required: Minimum 3 years of working experience in the industry Good communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail High regard for safety and a healthy working environment Salary Range: $76,515 to $85,000 Electrical Engineering Technician Read and understand and interpret wiring SLDs and Switchboard drawing layout Understand Australian Standards and apply knowledge on Switchboard manufacturing and assembly Assist Electrical Engineers and Engineering Technologists in design and layout of electrical installations and circuitry on substations, switchgear, cabling systems and motor control systems Inspect designs and finished products for compliance with specifications and regulations Manufacture and assemble electrical switchboards, motor control centres, and sub‑station kiosks Busbar bending, cutting and punching Laying out electrical componentry (ACB's, MCCB's, chassis, RCD's, Meters) on switchboards Wire electrical equipment at our factory Must have requirements: LV Switchboard manufacturing and assembly experience Ability to use basic hand tools Ideal requirements: Use of busbar machinery and equipment Electrical license Experience with control wiring and fault finding Salary range: $76,515 to $85,000 environment Salary range: $76,515 to $90,000 Procurement Manager Planning and prioritising projects to be ordered based on urgency and lead time Understanding parts and equipment lead time and ensuring correct pricing when issuing purchase orders to suppliers Negotiating prices, delivery requirements and contracts with suppliers Maintaining minimum stock levels to ensure continuity of production Responsible for proposing alternatives to the engineering and manufacturing team when lead time of original items does not meet delivery requirements Lead a team responsible for receiving, processing and expediting parts and equipment Coordinate between drafting/manufacturing/accounts department for procurement planning, releasing parts to workshop and managing supplier relationships Monitoring and managing performance of staff Ensuring proper use and inputting of transactions on MYOB Advanced Liaising with transportation and logistics providers and using client portals to manage deliveries Skills and Experience Required: Minimum 3 years working in the industry Good communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail High regard for safety and a healthy working
