Position Overview Pilatus Aircraft Australia is seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Pilot/ Flight Instructor to be based at Adelaide Airport. The role will work within the Pilatus Australia Flight Department to perform a range of flight duties including the safe and efficient operation of Pilatus PC-12 aircraft. A key responsibility of this dual role is to provide Flight Instruction on the PC-12 aircraft which would be dependent on aircraft arrivals into country and clients requirements. Internally the Line Pilot plays a critical role in supporting the Chief Pilot (HOFO) with administration supporting daily operations. Externally the Line Pilot has a key customer facing role with considerable influence, as well as representing Pilatus Aircraft Australia to other stakeholders such as the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA). An opportunity for this role will be progression with support for training to fly our PC-24 aircraft. Responsibilities Operate Pilatus PC-12 aircraft domestically and internationally in accordance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Provide PC-12 ground school and flight training Perform domestic and international demonstration flights, production flights, ferry flights and company transportation flights with the PC-12 aircraft Conduct pre-flight planning, including weather analysis, route planning, and aircraft performance calculations Perform thorough pre-flight and post-flight inspections to ensure aircraft airworthiness Communicate effectively with ground personnel, and passengers to ensure smooth and efficient operations Manage in-flight operations with a focus on passenger safety. Maintain record of activities, flight logs, operating expenses and maintenance in accordance with company and CASA requirements. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry standards and regulations. Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless coordination and support for all flight operations. Document aircraft discrepancies and reports equipment malfunctions to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
