Your responsibilities will include: Administering fortnightly payroll for employees across multiple awards with accuracy and compliance. Processing superannuation, leave, salary packaging, and workers compensation in accordance with legislation and organisational policy. Maintaining audit‑ready employee records, including Blue Cards, qualifications, contracts, and compliance documentation. Supporting recruitment and onboarding, ensuring all mandatory checks and documentation are completed prior to commencement. Assisting managers and staff with payroll, leave, and HR enquiries, providing professional advice and guidance. Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance across payroll and HR processes. What We’re Looking For Minimum 2 years’ experience in end‑to‑end payroll administration, with strong knowledge of modern awards, Fair Work legislation, and payroll compliance. Proven ability to manage timesheet and award‑based payroll accurately and on schedule. Strong numeracy, accuracy, and attention to detail. High level of confidentiality and professionalism. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and payroll systems. Current Paid Blue Card (or ability to obtain). Desirable Experience in the community, education, or childcare sector. Expertise in Employment Hero/KeyPay Payroll and HRIS systems. Prior HR administration experience, including onboarding and compliance. Familiarity with the Children’s Services Award. Certificate IV or Diploma in Payroll, HR, Business, or Accounting (or equivalent experience). Inclusion & Safeguarding Commitment At Jabiru, everyone is welcome.
