Remuneration : $40.57 - $69.84 per hour + super Employment Type : Permanent Part Time Position Classification : Clinical Psychologist / Psychologist Location : Taree Community Health Service Hours Per Week : 32 Requisition ID : REQ Applications Close : Sunday, 14th December 2025 Manning Mental Health Service is made up of Care Coordination, Intake and Acute Care Teams. We provide consultation, assessment, treatment and follow-up of adults and their families within the Lower Mid North Coast community, supporting consumers with transition from hospital to community through medication monitoring, psychoeducation, relapse prevention, organising psychiatry reviews and liaising with support services. You will receive a full orientation to the mental health service and ongoing in‑service support, including encouragement to complete relevant in‑house or external training. About You We seek a motivated and enthusiastic worker, able to contribute mental health knowledge to a multidisciplinary team, supported by senior leaders and the broader Manning Mental Health team. Essential Qualifications Knowledge and experience in mental health practice, with a strong commitment to contemporary service delivery principles, including intake intervention, shared care models and consumer, family/carer focused interventions. Understanding and application of trauma‑informed care principles with people experiencing mental health concerns and their families/carers. Ability to build and maintain cooperative professional and therapeutic relationships with key stakeholders, patients and their parents or guardians, employing well‑developed interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. Effective communication and teamwork skills in a multidisciplinary environment to achieve optimal outcomes for consumers and their families/carers. Current registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Completion of an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council accredited postgraduate clinical psychology qualification of at least two years full‑time duration, or recognised equivalent, as shown on the Psychology Board of Australia website.
