The opportunity We're seeking a Risk Business Partner to join our Risk and Compliance team, reporting to the Head of Legal and Compliance / Chief Risk Officer. This is a pivotal role for someone who is keen to build their risk experience and enjoys driving meaningful change across the risk landscape in a growing business. Working alongside the Risk, Legal and Compliance team and other key stakeholders, you'll play a key role in partnering with business functions to provide independent check and challenge to support Generation Life’s risk standards as we continue to grow and innovate. Key Responsibilities Administer Generation Life’s risk and compliance system (Assurance), including attestation process Assist with enhancing Line 1 and Line 2 risk and compliance reporting Partner with Line 1 business units to help them understand and apply Generation Life’s risk and compliance frameworks Act as a first point of contact at Line 2 for escalated risk and compliance matters and triage matters accordingly. About you You’re a strategic thinker, who can balance robust risk oversight with pragmatic business partnership and is passionate about helping Generation Life achieve its business objectives with appropriate risk appetite. Experience and qualifications Experience in risk management, ideally with a Line 2 risk function Strong knowledge of risk frameworks, regulatory requirements Proven ability to partner effectively with business units while maintaining independence Tertiary qualification in finance, risk management or related discipline Knowledge of APRA, ASIC and regulatory requirements A minimum of 3+ years of experience in risk and compliance role within financial services Seniority level: Associate Employment type: Full‑time Job function: Legal #J-18808-Ljbffr
