Do you want a high-flying corporate career working for the world’s largest air services provider, based in Brisbane?We are looking for a motivated individual with experience managing records and deliveries to join our friendly team as a Receiving Officer in our busy catering unit based at Brisbane Airport, on a full-time basis.More about this role:You will be responsible for verifying and maintaining records for incoming deliveries, and the accurate and timely receipting of goods into an automated system.In a nutshell, your main responsibilities are:Examine contents of deliveries and compare with records such as delivery dockets, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy.Record delivery data, such as weight, quantities, damages, or discrepancies for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes.Make remarks as required (i.e. boxes containing less than indicated, damages and the nature of pilferage).Assists with placing goods in their allocated stores location as required during times of high demand.Correspond with supplier to rectify problems, such as damages, or non-conformance to specifications.Receipting of orders using computerized or manual methods for control of stock inventory.Contact suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other issues.Match supplier documentation such as delivery dockets and invoices to Purchase Orders and ensure sign off within appropriate authority levels.Monitor delivery requirements to conform to the company's schedules and plans.Participate in end of monthly stock takes, ensuring all receipting is closed prior to the end of the month.What do you need to be successful in securing this role?Demonstrated success in a similar role.Attention to detail and the ability to solve system challenges in a timely manner.Excellent written and verbal communications skills, and strong problem solving skills.Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures and terminology.Demonstrates strong organisational / time management skills.Ability to handle challenging situations with tact and diplomacy.Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse group of stakeholders in a high volume, high value environment.Knowledge of the airline catering industry preferred but not essential.What’s in it for you?Competitive salary.5 weeks annual leave.Free onsite parking, meals, and uniforms.Career development and progression.Be part of a close knit and dedicated team that are committed to excellence.Discounts at hundreds of retailers, discounted health insurance, and wellbeing resources including online exercise classes.About Us:We are Australia’s largest and most admired inflight catering and retail partner.
