AI Engineer (Baseline Security Clearance Required) Duration: 12 Months (Possible Extension) Location: Canberra (Onsite) We are looking for an experienced AI Engineer for an upcoming project for one of the government organisations for a long-term contract. Required Skills Demonstrated experience in design and implementation of AI applications using Python , LangChain , LiteLLM , and OpenAI APIs . Demonstrated experience in developing APIs (FastAPI, etc.) and work with multi-LLM providers (Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, etc.). Experience in building AI pipelines integrating LLMs, vector search, and knowledge graphs while optimizing for performance. Experience integrating AI into enterprise workflows (MS Teams, SharePoint, Graph API) or open-source AI contributions. Experience with RAG systems, and vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, Azure AI Search). Knowledge of MLOps best practices and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation). Ability to deploy, monitor, and scale AI solutions using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP). Visa Status and Security Clearance Candidates must be an Australian Citizen.
