As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join our team and support the financial operations of our growing organization. Job Description We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing our financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining up-to-date records. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the financial health of Duraquip while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities Record day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. Reconcile bank and credit card statements to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies. Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and expense reports. Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable. Maintain and update general ledger and subsidiary ledgers. Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements. Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes. Handle payroll processing, including tax withholding and reporting. Generate financial reports for management review. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. Qualifications Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., MYOB). Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
