Lead with Purpose. Empower Communities. Shape the Future of Rural Health. Exceptional opportunity for a proven operational leader Genuine accountability for a key region within the Ochre Health network Based in Tasmania (location flexible – Hobart preferred) Make a real difference in the health and wellbeing of local communities About Ochre Health Ochre Health is a purpose‑driven national medical centre network with over 70 locations across NSW, VIC, QLD, TAS and the ACT. Guided by our values and what we call “The Ochre Way,” we’re united by a simple but powerful purpose — to improve the health of the communities we serve. With continued growth across Tasmania, we’re seeking an exceptional leader to take on the role of Regional Manager , overseeing a diverse and critical part of our operations. This portfolio includes more than 20 Ochre sites across the state — encompassing general practices, urgent care clinics, and state health partnerships providing 24/7 medical coverage to nine regional and remote hospitals. About the Role As Regional Manager, you’ll provide genuine end-to-end operational leadership — supporting teams, doctors, and communities to deliver high-quality health outcomes and sustainable business performance. Working closely with our national and regional support teams, you’ll drive the execution of a local strategic plan aligned to community needs and Ochre’s broader objectives. You’ll enjoy flexibility in where you work — from our Hobart support office, your home office, or within one of our medical centres — with regular travel across Tasmania to stay connected to your people and practices. What We’re Looking For Operational Excellence: A proven ability to lead daily performance — focusing on what matters most for patients, clinicians, and commercial outcomes. You know how to create in-the-moment focus, measure the right things, and coach your team to deliver. Passion for Healthcare: You don’t need to be a clinician, but you do need a deep passion for improving health outcomes and supporting those who provide care. Business Planning & Delivery: Skilled in turning strategic intent into practical action. You can build clear, measurable plans — and ensure they’re delivered consistently at every level. Stakeholder Engagement: From engaging doctors and healthcare partners to managing government relationships and community stakeholders, you build trust, influence effectively, and get results. Commercial Acumen: You understand what drives performance — using data, insight, and metrics to shape decisions and priorities that deliver sustainable results. Judgment & Accountability: You bring clarity and common sense to complexity. You prioritise what matters, address challenges head-on, and deliver outcomes with integrity and pace. Why Ochre? This is a career-defining opportunity — offering genuine autonomy, visible impact, and the support of a values‑led executive team and board. You’ll help shape the future of primary care in Tasmania, within a business that values purpose as much as performance. If you’re ready to take on a leadership role that blends strategy, delivery, and purpose — we’d love to hear from you.
