The role Our growing team has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Microbiologist to join this well-established family business. Located in Minto, this full-time position will see you responsible for all daily activities in the microbiology laboratory. More specifically your duties will include: Analysis of medicinal products, purified water and starting materials Ensuring data is recorded accurately and integrity is preserved in accordance to guidelines and standards Quality control of media Managing microbial cultures Ordering and managing laboratory consumables and media Performing Test Method Validation Data trending Maintenance, calibration, and qualification of equipment Raising and completing out of specification investigations Participate in deviations Maintaining compliance with GMP, health and safety Promote continuous improvement To be successful in this role you will have: Tertiary qualifications in Microbiology 1-2 years' experience in a microbiology laboratory Demonstrated experience in a microbiology laboratory Knowledge and understanding of GMP and GLP Excellent time management and organisational skills Ability to operate under pressure and meet tight deadlines Ability to work within a team.
