Responsibilities Admitting, consultative, diagnostic, procedural, outpatient, telehealth and on-call services as determined and required by HNELHD. Attendance and availability during rostered work hours and on-call periods, including clinical handover, supervision, teaching and for emergency and routine care as determined and required by HNELHD. Provision of education and research as determined and required by HNELHD. Demonstrate medical expertise with recent and comprehensive experience in General Practice. Contribute to teaching and support for staff and trainees to develop knowledge. Communicate effectively with patients, students, health professionals and the public (oral and written). Collaborate within an interdisciplinary framework and with stakeholders in various settings. Engage in management activities, leadership, safety and quality improvement where applicable. Pursue ongoing professional development and clinical governance. Advocate for improvements in individual and societal health. Qualifications Primary medical degree registrable with AHPRA and Fellowship of the RACGP or ACRMM, and/or overseas trained specialist pathways. Evidence of medical expertise in General Practice. Evidence of scholarship and ability to teach and support staff and trainees. Evidence of strong communication skills, collaboration, and adaptability within a changing health system.
