About our team The Customer Solutions team leads BCE’s IT project portfolio, acting as the bridge between IT capabilities and customer needs. As the Innovation and Enablement Lead, you’ll guide a collaborative team dedicated to driving innovative solutions and advancing digital enablement across Brisbane Catholic Education. You’ll build strong partnerships and champion initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and optimise enterprise systems. Working closely with stakeholders and technical teams, you’ll deliver solutions that meet evolving organisational needs, grow capability, and embed a culture of continuous improvement. Your leadership will be pivotal in providing expert advice, leading change, and achieving outcomes aligned with strategic priorities. Work hours: Fulltime | Flexible working arrangements available Status: Fixed Term | 1 year | January – December Contact : About the opportunity In this position you will : Lead and manage the design, delivery, and maintenance of enterprise business systems and capabilities to support BCE’s strategic priorities Lead and manage high performing teams across function areas to achieve team goals, including undertaking workforce planning to identify future needs and plan appropriately Undertake advanced analysis of strategic direction, providing data‑driven suggestions and reporting to support policy and processes Oversee financial and portfolio accountability for systems, resources, and processes, focusing on improvement agendas aligned with BCE strategies Develop, implement, and review strategic processes and procedures, including risk planning, contingency, and change management Optimise long‑term organisational and service delivery outcomes by effectively managing resources and creating frameworks Provide specialist advice and technical leadership in developing best practices Consult, collaborate with, and influence a diverse range of stakeholders at all levels About you To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including : Undertaking the development and review of strategic processes Being responsible for the implementation and delivery of strategic objectives and attainment Identifying function area needs for now and the future Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams, drive continuous improvement, and deliver strategic outcomes Stakeholder engagement across an organisation at a Senior level Managing a multidisciplinary team specialising in business analysis, innovation, and digital enablement Tertiary qualifications in a related field and / or previous experience in change management, business analysis and / or innovation roles (highly regarded but not essential) Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment Positive Notice Blue Card for working with Children Why choose BCE Opportunities for career advancement and professional development Competitive remuneration and flexible work arrangements (position dependent) Salary packaging and salary‑sacrificing options Active staff social club and wellness programs Personal support for our employees and families through the Employee Assistance Program.
