As a Project Manager at Cumulus Studio, you bring structure to creativity, confidently managing medium to large or multiple projects from inception to completion. Working closely with Project Principals and Project Leads, you ensure diligence across all phases through strong return-brief management, client insight, strategic project planning, clear communication and commercial awareness. You manage programs, contracts and fees, and support project leaders in guiding the team to deliver projects with care, clarity and accountability. You will collaborate with integrity, build strong long-term client relationships, and keep clients, consultants and project teams aligned to clear briefs and project goals, delivering excellent outcomes that reflect Cumulus values. RESPONSIBILITIES Work with Project Leads and Project Principals to set strategic direction and guide projects from inception to delivery. Lead internal and external teams to define project scope, brief, fees and budget. Manage and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. Plan and coordinate resources to ensure projects remain on scope, schedule and budget. Monitor project progress, identify risks, report outcomes and elevate or adjust scope when required. Act as the primary communication link between the project team, Project Principal, clients and consultants. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and external stakeholders. Represent Cumulus professionally, aligning with our values and project goals. Communicate clearly, motivate teams and lead with integrity. Share knowledge and support a positive learning environment to help team members meet project deliverables. EXPERIENCE & CRITERIA Proven success as a practicing Architect, 10+ years of experience. Proven ability to deliver high‑quality design and architecture; to improve the built environment and sustainable design. Excellent ability and confidence in communicating and coordinating decisions and processes. High level negotiation skills. Demonstrate successful project management skills on a variety of building types and project sizes. High level of technical design experience. Ability to independently and positively address problems and find solutions. Verbal, written and visual communication skills will be exceptional. Excellent organisational, collaboration and leadership skills are essential.
