Job Summary The Senior Content Planner supports the global content operations team in planning, managing, and executing conference agenda elements to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Core Responsibilities Lead operational delivery of agenda elements across multiple concurrent in‑person conferences, including agenda, capacity, financial, and staff planning. Communicate and collaborate with conference operations teams to ensure seamless delivery and continuously raise conference quality worldwide. Partner with program management to deliver a client‑focused agenda and develop new processes for session management and agenda guidelines. Create and manage a client‑facing website and conference app displaying all session information, adhering to agenda go‑live and session access deadlines. Analyze data to improve attendee engagement and predict attendee behavior, identifying regional attendance trends. Maintain the conference master planner to provide up‑to‑date session information and room allocation to all key stakeholders. Attend conferences as the onsite lead for in‑person delivery, managing session execution, data collection, and liaising with agency partners and vendors. Partner with Content leadership on projects to scale the business and bring best practices to the APAC region, proactively identifying improvements for global processes. Continuously evaluate the experience, feedback, and results, implement changes, and create detailed post‑conference analysis reports and debriefs. Expected Results Achieve operational excellence by executing conferences on time, within budget, and with great attention to detail. Ensure conference consistency through standardized processes, project management, and best practices during planning and onsite execution. Develop a comprehensive understanding of Gartner’s conference business and the value proposition of each conference for attendees and exhibitors. Experience & Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree preferred. 3‑5 years of relevant event experience. Experience working in a corporate environment. Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, cross‑functionally and with agency partners. Creative, innovative, and strategic thinker with strong attention to detail. Motivated team player with a desire to learn and grow. Excellent written, oral communication, and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to adapt, implement, and manage change, striving for continuous improvement. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and thrive in high‑pressure situations. Willingness to support onsite conferences approximately 20% of the time.
