We are looking for a vibrant Communication Manager/Sr. Communication Manager who is not afraid to challenge the status quo, someone who is driven by the relentless pursuit of excellence. If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you. Overview As a Communication Manager at Wrights, you would be working alongside some of Australia's best-known brands and organisations. You would have outstanding verbal and non-verbal communication skills, a passion for public relations and the ability to manage multiple projects and retainers simultaneously. You would be reporting directly to the Communication Director. Sponsorship would be available to the right candidate. Key Responsibilities Manage ongoing client work and work with the team in exceeding client outcomes Ensure outstanding client satisfaction by inspiring and encouraging the team to deliver excellent service while sustaining agency profitability Anticipate potential issues which may affect clients Develop client issues and issues management plans as required Develop and execute integrated communications campaigns across earned and owned media channels Proactively identify opportunities for innovation Develop and maintain strong client stakeholder relationships Collaborate with and nurture junior team members Develop compelling media materials, creative news angles and other written communication Lead and participate in brainstorms to generate strategy and ideas Collaborate with the team on effective solutions to help clients and the team Facilitate media events and activations Work with the leadership team on new business proposals About You 4 to 5 years of prior PR agency experience in consumer and B2B communication, stakeholder management experience preferred An agency mindset Qualification in social sciences, public relations, communication, marketing, journalism or similar Understanding of the Australian media landscape with existing contacts Excellent client relations management skills A good eye for storytelling Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with key media and clients Experience with line-managing interns and/or account executives Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Organised with a strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise Experience developing and implementing PR proposals and strategies A great sense of humour and team player approach (we like to have fun and so do you) A passion for discovering and researching what's new in the communication and media landscape and client industries Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and AI tools Mac experience preferred Curious, creative and big thinker Benefits Competitive salary and benefits Designated company iPhone and MacBook A creative and fun office environment Personalised professional development program Annual training budget and paid attendance at professional conferences and industry seminars Corporate membership of the CPRA and access to all membership benefits Quarterly team engagement activities Free secure parking space Close to public transport Spacious modern purpose-built office End of journey facilities How to Apply Please send us a copy of your resume together with a covering letter to Reena Llanillo Seniority Level Mid-Senior level Employment Type Full-time Job Function Marketing, Public Relations, and Writing/Editing Industries: Public Relations and Communications Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
