We are seeking an experienced and inspiring Centre Director to lead our Baulkham Hills service. This centre has strong community ties, including a weekly playgroup delivered onsite at Baulkham Hills North Public School. Key Responsibilities Lead the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring compliance with the National Law, Regulations and National Quality Standard. Build strong relationships with children, families, educators and the community, including overseeing the weekly playgroup program. Mentor and guide the educator team, fostering reflective practice and a high-quality learning environment. Oversee enrolments, occupancy, rosters and financial requirements aligned with organisational expectations. Drive continuous improvement, ensuring child-safe practice, WHS compliance and readiness for Assessment and Rating. Key Requirements ECT qualification or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (approved ACECQA qualification). Current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Management and CPR certification. Child Protection certification (recognised in NSW). Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC). Food Safety Supervisor certification or Basic Food Handler certificate. Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Centre Director, Assistant Director or Nominated Supervisor. Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills with a commitment to child-safe practice. Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and relevant legislation. Ensure compliance with Weldon’s policies and procedures, and all relevant legislation including WHS and Child Protection.
