Junior Graphic Designer and Signage Project Manager Junior Graphic Designer & Signage Project Manager Meriton has designed, developed, and built close to 80,000 award‑winning apartments and some of the tallest residential towers across the east coast of Australia. Meriton offers sales, leasing, and property management services, as well as the luxury hotel accommodation brand Meriton Suites, with 23 locations nationwide. About the Role Meriton is seeking a highly organised and detail‑driven Junior Graphic Designer & Signage Project Manager to support the design, documentation and delivery of signage and wayfinding across major residential, retail, commercial and hotel developments. Reporting to the Senior Signage, Wayfinding & Graphics Manager, you will work collaboratively with teams across the business to ensure all signage packages are accurate, compliant, aligned with project requirements, and consistent with Meriton’s brand standards. This position is well‑suited to a designer with 2–3 years’ industry experience in signage or design, with expertise in Illustrator and InDesign, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for the built environment, who is committed to seeing projects through from concept to installation. We require a person for 3 days a week in the office. Key Responsibilities Design and produce high-quality signage, branding and marketing materials. Develop designs for signage applications and prepare artwork files for production. Create technical drawings, signage schedules, material specifications and location plans with accuracy and precision. Read and interpret architectural plans, elevations, sections and site drawings to ensure seamless signage integration. Collaborate closely with internal teams to meet project timelines and technical requirements. Maintain brand consistency and ensure all work adheres to Meriton’s brand guidelines. Arrange quotations for signage packages from approved suppliers. Conduct site visits to take measurements, assess progress and support installation coordination. Liaise with suppliers, fabricators, installers and contractors throughout all project stages. Demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to follow briefs and instructions meticulously. Manage workloads effectively and work under pressure when required to meet deadlines. Contribute positively within the signage and marketing team, providing support where needed. Qualifications & Skills Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and InDesign. 2–3 years of experience in signage, construction, architecture, wayfinding or property development industries. Ability to create accurate, detailed drawings and specifications for signage projects, including location and installation plans. Strong capability in reading and interpreting architectural plans and technical documentation. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to brand accuracy. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment. Knowledge of accessibility standards, safety signage requirements and wayfinding principles. Experience preparing technical drawings, signage schedules and construction‑related documentation. Understanding of project coordination and obtaining supplier quotes. Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Genuine interest in property development, architecture, construction or environmental design (advantageous). Current driver’s license (required for site visits).
