About the opportunity Due to our continued growth, we are recruiting for experienced Senior Control Systems Engineers to join our growing team in Perth. Our recent projects include design, construction, commissioning, and optimisation for brownfield and greenfield mining, materials handling, mineral processing and port facilities across multiple commodities including iron ore, gold, salt, coal and nickel. We are looking for engineering professionals with experience in a design and execution team. Our ideal candidates will have the following: An Engineering degree or similar tertiary qualifications Experience in Australian Iron Ore mining projects / operations Demonstrated experience working in a project environment for either a systems integrator, OEM or an EPCM Demonstrated experience mentoring junior engineers, including assigning tasks and providing technical guidance Relevant PLC programming experience (e.g. Rockwell, Schneider, GE/Emerson) Relevant SCADA programming experience (e.g. Citect, FactoryTalk View, Wonderware, Cimplicity) An ability to interpret electrical schematics and develop control system designs based on these and other design inputs Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills An ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, in writing and in person Good organizational, time management and decision-making capabilities Desirable additional skills/experience: Bulk materials handling Mineral processing plants Mobile machines: stackers, reclaimers, shiploaders and associated stockyard systems Other relevant technology related skills.
