What you'll be doing This is an exciting, once in a career opportunity to join the new statewide workforce pool known as ‘CRU’, the Central Resource Unit (CRU).
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist Level 2 to provide a high-quality occupational therapy service to clients and their families/carers to ensure the provision of optimal health outcomes for the clients of the service. This encompasses ensuring effective and efficient entry, assessment, treatment planning, treatment implementation, evaluation, and separation of patients/clients in a multi-disciplinary setting. The Occupational Therapist is also responsible for undertaking designated administrative tasks necessary to support service delivery.

Where you'll be working The CRU Occupational Therapist workforce will be deployed to locations for anywhere between two and thirteen weeks to support short-term staffing needs. You will have the opportunity to work across a variety of health settings when on deployment.

Selection Criteria

  • Recognised Degree in Occupational Therapy or other qualification deemed appropriate by the employer with registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) To be appointed as a Level 2 Health Professional evidence must be provided of three years' clinical experience
  • Demonstrated experience of working in a multidisciplinary team
  • Evidence of knowledge and commitment to the application of quality improvement and evidence- based practice
  • Current drivers’ licence with capacity and willingness to travel to NSW Health business and service locations throughout NSW which will include overnight stays in regional/remote areas. These deployments will make up the majority of your time in the position.
