Marsh, located in Leederville, Western Australia, is seeking a Claims Consultant. Responsibilities Support the General Claims Manager in claims determination and data management to provide an efficient Claims Management service. Manage technical claims for general liability, property, and motor, including gathering information, determining policy coverage, liability, and quantum, preparing correspondence, calculating settlements, and processing payments. Instruct and liaise with external lawyers and investigators for litigated claims. Make determinations on policy responses to claims received from members. Attend court mediations and pre‑trial conferences and instruct lawyers in resolving claims. Represent members in Minor Case proceedings. Assist the Portfolio Manager and Manager of General Claims with preparation, monitoring, and analysis of claims data. Identify opportunities for risk advice and timely claim resolution to achieve effective financial outcomes. Provide administrative and claim‑management support within a team environment. Requirements Experience in claims management within the liability, property, or motor space. Strong professional communication skills with diverse stakeholders. Detail‑oriented with excellent organisational skills for handling claims documentation. A proactive team player capable of working independently and leading by example.
