Connecting the right people in ICT, to the right projects, at the right time | Government, Regulated Industries & Technology Our government client is delivering a major transition from SAP ECC6 to SAP S/4HANA (Finance), and they are seeking an experienced Change Manager to support organisational readiness, stakeholder alignment, and the successful adoption of the new system. You will work closely with project teams, business units, and the training lead to develop and execute a structured approach to change, ensuring a smooth transition and effective engagement across all affected areas. This role is an initial contract until August 2026, based in the Brisbane CBD with additional locations on the southside, and offers two days of WFH per week. Responsibilities Develop and implement the change management strategy and plan aligned with the SAP Activate methodology. Conduct detailed change impact assessments and stakeholder analyses to understand the effects of the transition from ECC6 to S/4HANA. Identify and manage change-related risks, resistance, and readiness gaps across the organisation. Prepare and deliver clear, targeted change communications that support awareness, engagement, and adoption. Establish and manage change networks, including change champions and super-users, to support local engagement and transition activities. Partner with the Training Lead to ensure training content, timing, and delivery align with identified change impacts. Support business readiness activities, monitoring engagement and tracking change adoption progress. Provide reporting and insights to project leadership on change effectiveness and areas requiring additional support. The successful candidate will bring extensive experience delivering change management activities for large-scale system replacement programs, with SAP and/or ERP Finance experience highly desirable, and will be comfortable working within complex government environments.
