As part of our 2025/2026 Graduate Program, we are recruiting for a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join our Building Engineering Servies Team, based in either Sydney or Melbourne. In the role of a Graduate Engineer, we'll count on you to: Work across the teams to produce designs, reports and other associated project engineering work. Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional engineer or Project Manager. Develop your engineering and delivery skills. Apply engineering techniques and procedures. Be a team player with ambition to learn, lead, develop and improve team members. Contribute to building a strong, diverse organisation that embraces inclusion with respect and appreciation for the value we each bring to our clients and to HDR. About You Undertaking a relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering (Mechanical), or similar. Graduated before January 2026. 0-2 years' relevant work experience. Strong interest in building engineering services. Passion for learning and commitment to developing your skills. Previous experience as an undergraduate in a consulting environment – advantageous Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel and Word. Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
