We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Mid-Weight Animator to join our team and contribute to our exciting projects, with a focus on our McDonald's account. As a Mid-Weight Animator at Akcelo, you will play a crucial role in bringing life and motion to digital customer touch points for our McDonald's account. Your creative vision and technical skills will be essential in enhancing the customer experience through captivating animations and dynamic visuals. You will collaborate closely with the design and development teams to ensure that animations seamlessly integrate with the overall user experience. Responsibilities Motion Design: Creating visually stunning animations in After Effects that align with the McDonald's brand guidelines and elevate the digital customer touch points, including menu boards, drive-thru screens, kiosks, and more Storyboarding: Collaborating with the design team to translate concepts and ideas into detailed storyboards, outlining the sequence of animations and interactions Animation Production: Developing high-quality animations using various tools and software, bringing creativity and innovation to motion design while maintaining consistency with the brand identity Asset Preparation: Working with the design team to prepare and optimise visual assets for animation, ensuring seamless integration and smooth playback across different digital platforms Collaboration: Collaborating closely with designers, developers, and other team members to ensure animations align with project goals, timelines, and technical requirements Feedback Incorporation: Receiving and incorporating feedback from internal teams and clients, iteratively refining animations to achieve the desired outcome Staying Current: Staying up-to-date with industry trends, animation techniques, and emerging technologies to bring fresh ideas and innovative approaches to the team What we offer A workplace that doesn’t just have the word flexibility written in a policy A company that really values its people… you will not just be another number Unbelievable employee benefits like flex fridays, annual ski trips, social events, team office drinks, free breakfast and loads more A workplace that offers learning and development opportunities, an unbelievable work environment with state of the art facilities and loads of perks Qualifications Demonstrated experience within a similar position (agency experience is an advantage) Professional graphic design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing your exceptional creative skills and conceptual thinking Editing experience with Adobe Premiere Pro (an advantage) as well as colour grading expertise using Lumetri Colour You are a team player with great communication and collaboration skills Ability to manage multiple projects independently, with strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment You are passionate about design and you have a keen eye for detail - staying up to date with trends You are open to feedback and enjoy working in a fast paced environment The willingness to grow with and alongside the business Experience working leading and delivering digital campaigns (retail focussed - advantage) You love being part of a team An open attitude and excited by change… you are a problem solver The passion to champion your team within the agency To apply for this amazing opportunity, hit the apply button now Akcelo is committed to nurturing, creating and building a diverse environment.
