Payroll Clerk

We are currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic person to join our expanding workshop team as a warranty clerk. About the role We are seeking a payroll officer to work at our Toowoomba facility working between 2 - 3 days per week, which include working across Tuesday to Thursday to manage our weekly payroll account. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, maintaining accurate records, and providing support to employees regarding payroll queries. Key Responsibilities Process weekly payroll Ensure compliance with employment laws, tax regulations, and company policies Maintain up-to-date employee records, including deductions, and benefits Respond promptly to employee leave and payroll queries and provide clear explanations when needed Perform payroll end‑of‑financial year function, carry out ad hoc reporting requests and assist with audits as required Collaborate with HR to ensure seamless integration of payroll data Key Requirements Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, tax requirements, and compliance standards Proficiency in payroll systems, experience with Auto IT is advantageous. Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail Intermediate to strong Excel skills Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly Reputation for being a one‑stop service provider and specialists in the heavy transport sector, Locally owned and operated with a deep connection to the Toowoomba and Darling Downs community, Work with a passionate and experienced team of over 50 employees using state of the art equipment to deliver outstanding results.
