eCommerce Solutions Consultant

Tryzens is an international digital commerce agency that accelerates client success and growth across all channels by delivering compelling, digitally‑first experiences for over 45 international brands with a team of 200+ members across London, Melbourne, Sydney, Sofia, and Trivandrum. We’re looking to hire an experienced eCommerce Solutions Consultant to join our Australia team in either Melbourne or Sydney. This is an ongoing permanent position. Role Overview The Solutions Consultant delivers high‑quality e‑commerce solutions, working with client stakeholders, internal technical teams, and third parties to analyse, design, and document technical solutions that meet business objectives. The role covers the full project life cycle from elicitation of business requirements through to user acceptance testing and implementation. Responsibilities Conduct client research and analyze the current technology stack and capabilities. Lead platform‑agnostic discovery and recommend the best‑fitting solutions that meet business needs and are platform‑appropriate. Lead re‑platform projects for eCommerce platforms end‑to‑end. Lead Mobile App projects. Create, own, and manage functional scope. Understand the client’s business needs and processes. Help clients build their road‑maps and groom backlog of requirements. Requirements Core Requirements Lead discovery workshops to gather business requirements and develop technical requirements. Translate outputs from discovery workshops into JIRA Epics and User Stories. Understand the full eCommerce product life cycle, including back‑end systems (OMS, PIM, ERP, etc). Working knowledge of core eCommerce platforms such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SAP Commerce Cloud, Adobe Commerce Cloud, Shopify, Commerce Tools, or BigCommerce. Proven track record in software development environments and end‑to‑end project lifecycles. Act as a subject‑matter expert, raising awareness of innovation, process improvements, and problem‑solving solutions. Co‑coordinate with offshore teams and vendors across time zones. Experience with B2B and B2C eCommerce implementations. Document requirements in the form of user stories, user flows/diagrams, and functional specifications. Translate between development, creative, and business stakeholders. Essential Skills & Experience Working knowledge of digital platforms outside of commerce (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, Web CMS such as Contentful or AEM, Klaviyo, PIM systems, ERPs). Experience in AI methodology, spec‑driven requirements, and prompting. Experience within the retail industry. Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills. Experience creating detailed reports and presenting. Excellent attention to detail, oral and written communication skills. Interpersonal and consultative skills. Team player with a can‑do attitude. Previous experience facilitating discovery workshops. Analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills. Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies. Desirable Experience & Knowledge Knowledge of user experience (UX) design.
