We are hiring an experienced eCommerce Solutions Consultant for our Australia team in either Melbourne or Sydney. This is an ongoing permanent position. The role requires proven experience in delivering high-quality e‑commerce solutions. You will collaborate with client stakeholders, our internal technical teams, and third‑party partners to analyse, design, and document technical solutions that meet business objectives across the full project lifecycle – from elicitation of requirements to user acceptance testing and implementation. Core Responsibilities Conduct client research and analyse existing technology stacks. Lead platform‑agnostic discoveries and recommend the best‑fitting solutions that meet business needs. Lead re‑platform projects for eCommerce platforms end to end. Lead Mobile App projects. Create, own, and manage functional scope. Understand the client's business needs and processes. Help clients build road maps and groom backlog of requirements. Core Requirements Lead discovery workshops to gather business requirements and develop technical requirements. Translate workshop outputs into JIRA Epics and User Stories, and present technical concepts to senior stakeholders. Understand the full eCommerce product lifecycle, including back‑end systems (OMS, PIM, ERP, etc.). Working knowledge of core eCommerce platforms such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SAP Commerce Cloud, Adobe Commerce Cloud, Shopify, Commerce Tools, or BigCommerce. Proven track record in software development environments and end‑to‑end project lifecycles. Act as a subject‑matter expert, raising awareness of innovation and process improvements. Co‑coordinate with offshore teams and vendors across time zones. Experience with B2B and B2C eCommerce implementations. Document requirements in user stories, user flows/diagrams, and functional specifications. Translate between development, creative, and business teams. Essential Skills & Experience Working knowledge of digital platforms outside of commerce (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, Web CMS, Klaviyo, PIM, ERP, etc.). Experience with AI methodology, spec‑driven requirements, and prompting. Experience working within the retail industry. Familiar with JIRA, Confluence, MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills. Experience creating detailed reports and presenting. Excellent attention to detail, oral and written communication skills. Interpersonal and consultative skills. Team player with a fantastic can‑do attitude. Previous experience facilitating discovery workshops. Analytical thinking and problem‑solving ability. Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.
