Dairy Australia is on the lookout for a passionate and driven Farm Business Program Advisor on a 2 year fixed term contract to lead the charge in delivering innovative, collaborative, and high-impact farm business activities across our vibrant dairy regions. This is more than just a job – it’s a chance to help farmers take control, plan better, and manage risk with confidence. You’ll be the connector between farmers, advisers, service providers, and Dairy Australia’s regional teams, ensuring our national Farm Business Program is not only well‑executed but truly transformative. Key Responsibilities Empowering Farmers Working with our regional teams to facilitate the planning and delivery of engaging learning opportunities for farmers and industry (in-person & online), and providing tailored support to drive real practice change. Promote tools and services like Farm Business Fundamentals, Dairy Farm Business Analysis, Cash Costs & Margins and one of Dairy Australia’s flagship programs - Our Farm, Our Plan to help farmers future‑proof their businesses. Building Strong Networks Develop effective relationships with Dairy Australia’s regional teams. Cultivate relationships with farmers, service providers, and industry partners. Broker connections that unlock new opportunities and strengthen regional delivery networks. Driving Strategy & Impact Align program delivery with Dairy Australia’s strategic priorities. Monitor, evaluate, and report on outcomes to ensure continuous improvement and stakeholder confidence. Bring the voice of the farmer into program development. Use your whole farm system knowledge and change management expertise to shape services that truly resonate. About You This role will suit someone who can bring the following: An understanding of farming systems and the challenges dairy farmers face Proven leadership in program delivery, ideally in agriculture or extension Strong communication and relationship‑building skills Experience in project management, evaluation, and reporting A tertiary qualification in agriculture, agribusiness or related field – or equivalent experience A proactive, can‑do attitude and a passion for making a difference Why Dairy Australia?
