Property Supervisor

About the opportunity Lead our Grounds and Maintenance team across multiple Rockhampton sites, including our Residential Aged Care community, Retirement Village and Carinity Education Shalom. In this key role, you will ensure all properties remain safe, well‑presented and functional for residents, students, staff and visitors. Guide a small team, coordinate day‑to‑day maintenance activities, manage contractor work and respond to requests promptly, all while upholding legislative, WHS and organisational standards. Your day‑to‑day will involve Planning, delegating and overseeing maintenance and grounds tasks Keeping all property and equipment in safe and presentable condition through a preventative maintenance program, and coordinating small machinery and equipment maintenance Maintain accurate records for equipment, warranties, servicing, budgets and purchasing Supporting budget preparation and processing invoices Carrying out general grounds duties ‑ watering, weeding, planting, rubbish collection and upkeep of outdoor areas About you You have solid experience in maintenance, grounds or trade work, along with the confidence to lead a small team and take pride in the safety and presentation of each site. Your strong people skills allow you to communicate easily with residents, school staff and colleagues, and you approach challenges with practical thinking, initiative and a problem‑solving mindset. Qualifications Certification and/or experience in maintenance, carpentry / building, grounds‑keeping or a related trade Understanding of relevant legislative and WHS requirements Knowledge of small machinery, gardening, grounds and equipment maintenance Current First Aid Certificate and willingness to obtain required clearances (NDIS Worker Screening, Police Check, Blue Card if required for school) Benefits When you join Carinity, you become part of a team dedicated to compassion, respect and helping people thrive.
