Find out what a career at Primero can do for you. Your Opportunity We are looking for a Principal Electrical and Instrumentation Designer to join our growing team. Your Key Responsibilities Manage and provide support to the project team to ensure compliance with all applicable legislation, standards, and procedures. Communicate effectively with the project team, clients and to other project stakeholders. Produce discipline specific deliverables that meet Primero Groups, the client's and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. Oversee project drafting deliverables ensuring quality, schedule and integrity requirements are met. Ensure effective communication to the entire E&I team regarding changes and updates to workflows and guidelines. Review and provide feedback on vendor drawings and interdisciplinary design data. What You 'Can Do' 12+years experience as an Electrical Designer. Electrical and instrumentation design experience of industrial plants, refineries, or infrastructure in the mining / minerals processing or oil and gas industries. Previous experience leading a team and managing resource allocation. Previous experience and a willingness to check drawings. Understanding of statutory and industry regulations and HSE practices. Knowledge and practical application of design theories, principles and practices. The ability to work efficiently and effectively within a multi-discipline team environment. Keen eye for detail and a systematic approach to producing deliverables. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
