St Nicks Early Learning is a warm, community-focused early education service with two campuses: St Nicks Hellenica in Yarralumla and St Nicks Botanica (opening January 2026). Our philosophy is simple: we love creative, meaningful learning. Whether through language exploration, creative expression, sustainability practices, or project-based investigations, we encourage children’s natural intelligence, curiosity, and sense of belonging. At St Nicks, we embed: Reggio-inspired, project-based learning that honours children as capable, competent learners Conscious Discipline principles , supporting emotional regulation, connection, and positive guidance Greek language and cultural experiences at our Hellenica campus Bush Kindy and gardening programs Weekly sports and physical literacy sessions Strong engagement with our local community We are seeking a Childcare Worker to take on an assistant role who is enthusiastic about Early Childhood Education, enjoys collaborative project work, and is eager to grow their skills and career within a supportive teaching team. Roles & Responsibilities include: Creating engaging indoor and outdoor learning environments Observing, documenting, and extending children’s learning Working collaboratively with the team to manage routines, including mealtimes, toileting, and rest Building strong relationships with families during drop‑off and pick‑up Contributing positively to a warm, respectful, and creative team culture We welcome applications from qualified educators and those who are new to the industry. Hourly rate is negotiable based on qualifications and experience. We are offering full‑time positions as our preferred option.
