Clinical Nurse - Sexual Health Service, Queensland Health An exciting opportunity exists for a Clinical Nurse to lead and deliver person‑centred nursing care at an advanced level based on the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Registered Nurse Standards for Practice. The CN is expected to practice autonomously and provide leadership in clinical decision‑making. The Sunshine Coast Sexual Health Service is a non‑acute ambulatory outpatient facility of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service. Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north. Key Responsibilities include: Adhere to defined service quality standards, health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being understood to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces. Understand your broad responsibilities for safety and quality in healthcare, actively participate in continuous quality and safety improvement activities within the workplace and notify a relevant clinical or non‑clinical responsible officer when concerns exist about workplace or patient safety. Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position. Remuneration value up to $55 536 p.a., comprising salary rates $54.44 – $58.30 p.h., (part time, 32 hrs p.f.), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 6 (1) (part time position available, 32 hrs p.f.).
