Apply now to join our teamJob Title: Corporate Affairs Advisor Southbank location Competitive remuneration package Permanent full-time opportunity In this full-time permanent role, as Corporate Affairs Advisor, you will work as part of the corporate affairs team based out of Visy’s Southbank offices In Melbourne. Reporting to the General Manager – Government Relations, Communication & Public Affairs, you’ll help strengthen Visy’s policy, engagement and government relations initiatives. What you'll do: Contribute to the development and execution of Visy’s corporate affairs strategy. Support engagement with government stakeholders, including members of parliament, regulatory authorities, and local councils. Identify legislative and regulatory challenges impacting business growth across recycling, manufacturing, energy, sustainability, and logistics. Assist in advancing advocacy and public policy reform initiatives. What You Will Bring: Proven experience in politics, public policy, corporate affairs, or public affairs. A solid understanding of how government processes and systems work. Confidence in drafting and interpreting submissions, briefing notes, and official correspondence. The ability to analyse complex information and turn it into clear, simple messages. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. A proactive, problem‑solving approach with strong stakeholder engagement and attention to detail. The flexibility to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.
