Corporate Affairs Specialist

Join to apply for the Corporate Affairs Specialist role at Asahi Beverages . Reporting to the Head of Corporate Affairs & Government Relations, you will support the execution of Asahi Beverages’ Group Corporate Affairs strategy. You will work closely with the Head of External Communications to deliver our external communications agenda, strengthen Asahi Beverages’ reputation and contribute to public policy, regulatory compliance and responsible drinking initiatives. This role offers broad exposure across media, policy, brand PR, compliance and government engagement, and is ideal for someone early in their corporate affairs career. Key Responsibilities Draft media releases, campaign materials and responses to media enquiries Support day‑to‑day coordination with media monitors, photographers, videographers and external PR agencies Assist with brand PR activity and marketing compliance across our beverage portfolio Coordinate the non‑alcoholic beverages’ Sales and Marketing Compliance Committee process and ensure collateral meets regulatory and community standards Support responsible drinking programs and contribute to Global Responsible Drinking Goals Assist with preparation of briefing notes, backgrounders and policy material to support State and Federal Government engagement Provide general coordination and administrative support across the Corporate Affairs function to ensure smooth delivery of key projects About You 2–4 years of experience in journalism, media, public policy, government, PR, communications or a related field Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft clear, accurate content Understanding of current affairs and the Australian media and political landscape Ability to apply regulatory, reputational and compliance considerations in a corporate environment Proactive, curious and able to move comfortably between fast‑paced media work and detailed compliance reviews Collaborative mindset with sound judgement to engage across multiple stakeholders Why Asahi Beverages?
