As a Casual Indoor Sports Officer, you’ll support the daily operations of the Menai Indoor Sports Centre. Your responsibilities will include: Providing friendly and professional customer service Operating the kiosk in line with food safety standards Setting up and packing down courts and equipment Managing bookings and point‑of‑sale transactions Maintaining cleanliness and safety across the facility Assisting with minor first aid and incident response Supporting promotional activities and programs Upholding child safety standards and Council policies Current First Aid and CPR Certificate NSW Working with Children Check Food Safety Handling Certificate Barista training and food handling experience Join our Team and Grow with Us If you are ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role that makes a real difference in the community, apply now to join our team at Sutherland Shire Council Application Information Apply by responding to our online application questions and submitting your resume outlining why we are a great fit Application deadline: 11.59 pm Friday 12th December 2025. Interview date: Interviews will be facilitated within two weeks of closing. Package: Casual pay rate of $37 ph + 12 % super. Hours of work: Casual shifts offered as required in line with operational need. Applicants must be willing to work across a 7‑day a week spread (Monday–Sunday) with availability across the spread of hours that the facility is open (8.30 am – 10.00 pm) to support the operational requirements of the Centre.
