Base pay range A$55.72/hr - A$58.19/hr Anglicare has a long history of providing family and children support services, including family intervention, foster, and kinship care, counselling, relationship support, and much more. Our Foster & Kinship Care Programs provide children and young people who are not able to live with their own families the opportunity to live in a safe nurturing family environment. Our amazingly dedicated team in the Caboolture are looking for a Full Time Family Intervention Service Coordinator to join their team. In this role you will make a meaningful difference by providing quality guidance, direction and supervision to a team of Practitioners, Family Intervention who deliver in-home intensive intervention and support service to families where child protection issues have been identified as a significant concern. A typical day may include: Provide leadership and professional supervision for all workers within the team Oversee Practitioners in the effective performance of their role Provide coaching and mentoring guidance to build team competency and success Ensure that the program complies with relevant statutory, licensing and organisational requirements as determined by the funding contract Ensure all case notes are up to date and paperwork is processed correctly in accordance with licensing requirements Complete relevant Departmental and Anglicare review documentation Provide support for, attend and lead meetings with joint stakeholders to meet the care needs of child, young people and carers Oversee the undertaking of comprehensive, quality reports which can be tendered to the Department and where necessary the court system Build internal and external relationships that are based on trust and respect and through sensitivity, availability, acceptance and investment Participate in appropriate family intervention, child safety and community networks Develop strong professional partnership relationships with Department of Communities and other relevant external agencies What you will bring to the role: Proven ability to identify practice frameworks that empower clients to build and sustain change in their lives, enabling them to safely care for their children Demonstrated experience in delivering family intervention activities within a statutory environment, including knowledge of the Child Protection Act (1999) and amendments. Well-developed practice framework that is culturally sensitive An ability to manage and provide appropriate team leadership and supervision Demonstrated ability to respond appropriately in crisis situations including highly developed problem-solving, decision-making and negotiation skills Relevant experience within a community services or similar organisation (desired) An understanding of quality management and continuous improvement processes and the Human Service Quality Standards (desired) We also require the following Qualifications and Credentials: Current Blue Card Current Licensed Care Service (LCS) Current Queensland Driver Licence Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Social or Behavioural Sciences or similar A Certificate IV in Workplace Training, Assessment and Evaluation (desired) Interested?
