M&A Collaborationof the Year Award which recognises a unique and innovative approachto deal-making in Australia.Find out moreabout what it’s like to work in our Corporate &Commercial team here .KeyresponsibilitiesThesuccessful candidate will be involved in a range of matters,including:actingon mergers and acquisitions ranging from $1M in value throughto values exceeding $100M;advisingventure capital funds and targets of venture capital funds oninvestments including due diligence andnegotiation;draftingdocumentation including joint venture and shareholderagreements, security holder agreements and commercialcontracts;advisingclients on complex capital raising transactions for entitiesraising capital and for investors;providing advicepertaining to corporate structure;advisingprivate and public sector clients on corporate governance andcompliance issues;a rangeof general corporate and commercial matters.Skills andexperienceWe are keento hear from candidates with the following skills andexperience:2-4years post admission experience gained in a corporate &commercial practice;experience advising onkey matters relating to corporate/M&A including duediligence, drafting & negotiating acquisition documents andregulatory approvals including FIRB;experience withcorporate restructuring and corporate governance;someexperience of licensing and general contractingarrangements;highlydeveloped legal and research skills; andexperience with atop-tier, international or large national firmpreferred.AboutusHall &Wilcox is a leading independent Australian law firm.
