About the role Join Rawson Group as a Senior Building Designer where you will play a critical role in the development, refinement and continual improvement of our Class 1 Residential Building Designs , focusing primarily on innovation of our display homes and product range development. You will be involved in the design and delivery to ensure that they align with market trends, operation objectives and meet customer expectations. You understand that success comes from communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all design elements meet objectives and are executable. The Senior Building Designer will manage the master design library, update and ensure continual optimisation of existing documents and prepare new product designs from conception through to delivery. This role is not just limited to our display homes; you will assist other divisions of the product design team to support, mentor and align to the Rawson Group\'s strategic design goals. Join our team and you\'ll be rewarded with: Hybrid work environment with WHF Wednesday & Friday Discount on home builds and land packages Optional 5 weeks paid leave Friendly, social and collaborative team environment Company Wide Reward and Recognition Platform, where points are redeemable for cash vouchers or days off Recruitment Referral Program - up to $5000 Access to our employee assistance program for you and your family Key Responsibilities: Manage existing library of master designs & ensure continual optimisation Oversee and manage continued innovation of the existing design library Partner with Marketing, Sales Teams & external stakeholders to obtain design briefs for product innovation Oversee the design and preparation of new product designs Manage compliance and drafting documentation to ensure timely delivery Assist with delivery of tenders to ensure project conversion About You: Experience: High level of experience in Residential (Class 1) designs Proficient in the use of REVIT application to design, alter and update Residential (Class 1) designs Solid understanding of construction, product and regulation/compliance matters Proven experience reviewing, updating and designing residential homes with modern innovations Professional: Well-developed problem-solving skills, structured and analytical thinker Ability to Work as part of a broader team Strong relationship building skills with internal and external stakeholders Ability to make evidence-based decisions and organisational skills to prioritise work Qualifications: Qualification in Architecture or Building Design Minimum 7 years\' experience in a similar role Strong knowledge of architectural design, detailing, building materials, residential construction techniques, Australian Standards and authority requirements Everyone belongs at Rawson Group Diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging are key to realising our purpose of building better together.
