Knowledge Lawyer – Innovation & AI (18-Month Contract) Be the lawyer who drives AI adoption in law. Shape the future of legal service delivery. Work with a top-tier firm on cutting‑edge innovation projects. Location: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, or Perth (Hybrid – typically 60% office / 40% home) Contract: Full‑time, 18 months Base pay range: A$120,000.00/yr - A$140,000.00/yr The Role Partner with practice groups to identify high‑impact use cases for generative AI and knowledge tools. Customise and support the rollout of legal tech solutions. Act as a key contact for AI‑related queries and troubleshooting. Develop user‑friendly resources and training materials. Support vendor relationships and evaluate new features and tools. Facilitate knowledge sharing and cross‑practice collaboration. Assist with client education, pitch preparation, and tool demonstrations. About You Legal qualifications (you don’t need to be admitted in Australia, but must have full working rights). 2–3 years PQE in legal or professional services. Familiarity with legal tech platforms (e.g. Lexis+, Westlaw Precision, CoCounsel, Contract Express). Strong communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills. Experience in training, change management, or innovation. A passion for legal technology, continuous learning, and innovation. A collaborative mindset with a desire to grow, network, and mentor others. What’s on Offer An 18‑month fixed‑term contract with full‑time hours.
