We act for humanity. About the role Red Cross believes that everyone deserves a home that is safe, secure and affordable. In this role you will be responsible for leading, coaching and mentoring a team of Case Workers delivering vital case management support within the Immediate Housing Response for Families (IHRF) program. The program provides short‐term emergency accommodation and support to families experiencing or at risk of homelessness, often involving financial assistance for tenancy start‐up and sustainment costs. This program aims to help families transition from crisis to stable, long‑term housing solutions. What you will bring Significant experience within the homelessness sector Proven track record as an effective leader, supporting and building constructive relationships within teams Demonstrated interpersonal skills including excellent communication skills Experience in providing programs to clients from diverse backgrounds and cultures Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in use of software applications Working with Children Check Benefits that act for you, while you act for humanity Financial wellbeing: In addition to your salary, you can take advantage of salary packaging that could provide you with a great way to reduce the amount of tax you pay – and get more from your salary.
