Operations Supervisor, Inbound PA - Stow (Tues-Fri) Amazon Dandenong South, Victoria, Australia We’re seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor/Process Assistant to join the team at our Fulfillment Center in Dandenong. The Process Assistant will support the Area Manager, and will hold responsibilities specific to your process path. Key job responsibilities Support and work in the department as required Help support daily management of department duties, including allocating labor, leading meetings, assigning job duties Provide vacation coverage for Area Managers Provide policy follow-up, attendance tracking (duties do not extend to discipline) Track and report labor hours Assist the floor as an associate resource, train associates and verify SOP compliance Ensure successful area performance, through tracking, reporting and feedback of associate performance Participate in Operational Excellence initiatives in some capacity Fill in as needed with production duties Fully understand workflow and daily production goals Review and update SOP as required Assist in keeping work area clean and organized Identify and address safety hazards within the work area Coach associates to work safely at all times Participate in safety initiatives Refer all job injuries immediately to area manager Basic Qualifications Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays Previous experience leading teams Availability to work 38 hours+/week, and overtime as required Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to coach, train and assist team members Experience working with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Preferred Qualifications Leadership experience directly managing others Experience working within a similar field (manufacturing/distribution/warehousing/large retail) Experience with performance metrics and lean process improvement Acknowledgement Of Country In the spirit of reconciliation Amazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
