Join Shea Security as a Graduate Cyber Security Consultant to develop penetration testing and consulting skills within a dynamic, tech-focused team in Melbourne. Your Role Here’s what you will be doing: Perform penetration testing for clients across various industries in Melbourne and Australia. Provide cyber security consulting covering diverse technology stacks. Develop technical skills to advance as a penetration tester and researcher. Communicate with clients via email, Slack, and video. Write and draft professional reports. Attend and work from client sites occasionally. Maintain professional conduct expected in the cyber security industry. About You The company is looking for: Proficiency in Linux, Mac, or Windows command lines. Detailed understanding of the HTTP protocol. Proven, sustained self-study in cyber security. Experience building a web application professionally or as a hobbyist. Coding skills in one or more languages such as C#, Java, Golang, Rust, JavaScript, Ruby, or Python. English communication skills sufficient for clear written reports, emails, and phone conversations. Australian work rights. Compensation & Benefits Salary range $70,000 – $90,000 per year, negotiable based on experience. Remote work and working from home arrangements supported where appropriate.
