As an Asphalt Labourer at Workforce International Pty Ltd, you will be responsible for supporting the completion of asphalt paving projects in the Newcastle, Maitland and Hunter regions of NSW. No asphalting experience required - this position would ideally suit someone with experience in the civil sector (or similar) who is looking for their next opportunity. What you’ll be doing Assisting the asphalt paving crew with the preparation and placement of asphalt materials Operating hand tools and equipment required for asphalt paving and compaction Ensuring the work site is kept clean, tidy and safe at all times Following all relevant health, safety and environmental procedures Supporting the wider project team as required What we offer $33.05 - $34.73/hr + penalties and super Potential for permanency for the right candidate Occasional night work/travel with associated penalty rates Start work in the new year What we’re looking for Previous experience as a labourer in the construction or civil works industry Familiarity with the use of hand tools and light equipment Good physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour tasks Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Strong commitment to workplace health and safety A current LR truck licence or above About us Workforce International is a leading provider of workforce solutions in the construction and civil engineering sectors.
