This role offers a genuine opportunity to contribute to building a robust safety culture and processes to make a real difference in the field. About the Role We’re looking for a WHS Advisor who’s confident on the ground, technically capable, and ready to take ownership of improving how safety is implemented across our projects. You’ll support site‑based operations and management in maintaining compliance with company procedures, client expectations, and NT legislation. This is a hands‑on role that combines field engagement, incident support, system development, and stakeholder communication. Key Responsibilities Conduct inspections and risk assessments across active civil projects. Lead and support investigations using ICAM methodology and implement corrective actions. Review and develop SWMS, SWPs, and site‑specific risk documentation. Manage training, inductions, and compliance tracking through software systems like Skytrust and HammerTech . Assist in preparing documentation and evidence for ISO audits and client reviews. Identify opportunities to strengthen existing systems and improve consistency across sites. Coach and support Supervisors and crews in achieving safe, compliant outcomes on the ground. Skills and Experience Cert IV in Work Health and Safety (minimum). Experience in Civil construction or related high‑risk industry highly regarded. Sound understanding of NT WHS legislation and Codes of Practice. Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Strong communication and interpersonal skills – ability to work well within the team. Experience writing SWMS, creating SWPs and participating in investigations. ICAM Lead Investigator qualifications will be highly regarded. What’s on Offer Darwin‑based role – be home each night.
