What's the role?
As a Planning Director at UM, you will lead our planning team in developing and executing strategic media plans that exceed client expectations. Your role will involve:
Overseeing implementation recommendations and optimal connection plans across all channels.
Driving exploration of non-traditional partnership opportunities and fostering collaboration across UM’s specialized teams.
Championing industry innovation and driving future-focused approaches for our clients.
Utilizing your 8+ years of experience and deep knowledge of the Australian media landscape to inform strategic decisions.
Mentoring and developing Senior Planning Managers while collaborating closely with Client leads and the trading team.
Leveraging strong media relationships to identify and capitalize on client opportunities beyond conventional briefs.
What are we looking for?
Demonstrated experience identifying owned and earned media opportunities.
Your interest in staying on top of current industry trends and their impact on UM’s strategies.
Interest in fostering a culture of ideation and collaboration, driving innovative solutions.
Demonstrate strong business communication and problem-solving skills.
Experience leading the development of Connections Blueprints and Plans, driving market-leading processes.
Ability to identify and pursue non-traditional partnership opportunities, elevating advisory status with clients.
Experience delivering compelling client presentations and maintain respectful agency partnerships.
