General Manager / Senior Business Advisor Location: Toorak, VIC, Australia. Salary: A$150,000‑200,000 p/a. Employment: Full‑time, Hybrid. We’re dedicated to creating & implementing strategies that drive growth and success, whether in strategic planning, people and culture, or operational improvements, with the ultimate goal of freeing the business owner from day‑to‑day operations. Role Trusted partner to our clients offering a broad range of advice, support, guidance and implementation strategies, a mix of a CEO / COO / GM role. Key focus areas Evaluate business structures, org charts, processes & performance to identify main problem areas, together with solutions to facilitate growth. Develop strategic plans, identifying organisational and personal goals, and create effective strategies for growth. Identify gaps in existing business processes and work toward streamlining / automating these processes to improve operational performance. Interpret and have a clear understanding of client financials, including budgeting & forecasting. Identify & review current business reporting processes and implement more effective reporting tools where required. Identify core areas of a business (pillars) and construct both individual reporting and staffing changes required to achieve growth strategies. Create position descriptions, salary banding, KPIs and reporting lines for all positions in the organisation. Work with business owners / Senior Leadership Teams on recruitment needs required to achieve growth strategies. Develop and maintain client relationships for long‑term success. Celebrate success with our clients. You look like Lateral thinker with the ability to ask the right questions. Experience as a Director / CEO / COO / GM (must have managed a team and owned P/L). Demonstrated experience in growing/achieving business targets. Experience in running or advising within the SME space ($5m‑$100m turnover). Strong ability to facilitate management teams & meetings to achieve outcomes. Confidence in speaking at a C‑Suite level. Genuine interest/curiosity in businesses and how they grow.
