We value clear communication, shared ownership, and fast iterations, combining strategic thinking with the ability to execute efficiently.**Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:*** Manage, develop, and coach a team of 6–8 colleagues working on platform development and operations* Ensure stable, efficient development and daily operations of the platform ecosystem* Own the platform roadmap and manage the vendor relationships* Collaborate closely with Product Owners in our business divisions to deliver technical solutions that support our business needs* Facilitate coordination between engineering teams and stakeholders across product management, marketing, and e‑commerce, and represent the team in relevant projects and forums* Encourage an innovation mindset in the team, including exploring and piloting intelligent tools in day‑to‑day work* Expand the team’s technical scope to include additional platforms over time, as our digital landscape evolves.**To thrive in your new role, we imagine that you:*** Hold a degree in Engineering, IT, Business or another relevant field - or have equivalent experience* Have experience as a people leader or are an experienced senior individual contributor ready and motivated to step into a leadership role* Understand how data and product information create value in digital customer and partner experiences* Bring experience from working in the intersection between Business and IT and are comfortable translating business needs into digital solutions* Are familiar with modern software development practices and agile ways of working* Communicate clearly and build solid relationships with stakeholders at different levels of the organisation* Work in a structured and pragmatic way, balancing long-term direction with effective execution* Are fluently in written and spoken English and you are comfortable communicating with others.At GN we pride ourselves on encouraging flexible working whenever possible.
