We are seeking applications from suitable candidates to fill the role of Co-Educator within our Middle & Senior school teams at the Wynn Vale campus in 2026. The role will focus primarily on students across Years 8 - 12. This role is ideal for educators who are committed to inclusive education and experienced in supporting students with diverse learning needs, including disabilities, learning difficulties, and behavioural challenges. The role on offer is full time with commencement in January 2026. We are open to considering part time appointment as well for the right candidates. Co-Educators work across 39 school term weeks with an additional 4 weeks of paid annual leave taken immediately following Term 4. Position Purpose Co-Educators play a crucial role in creating an engaging, positive, and student-centred learning environment. Working under the guidance of the Leader of Enrichment & Inclusion and in partnership with Teachers, the role helps create a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment that nurtures student growth and independence. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with Teachers to deliver inclusive and engaging learning experiences. Provide targeted support to students in small groups or one‑on‑one settings. Assist with student assessments and maintain accurate records. Support students with disabilities and/or learning needs, including personal care where required. Contribute to a collaborative and supportive team culture. Supervise students during break times and school events. Assist with administrative tasks and maintain learning environments. What We’re Looking For A personal commitment to the King’s Vision, Mission and Values underpinning the delivery of a Christian‑based education to students. Experience supporting students with additional needs, including behaviour regulation. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build respectful relationships with students, staff, and families. Understanding of inclusive education and trauma‑informed practices. High levels of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism. Qualifications Required An education‑related Certificate III or Diploma Qualification (or higher) is highly desirable. Current First Aid Certificate. Successful completion of mandatory reporting training (RRHAN‑EC). Current Working with Children’s Check. Understanding of children’s developmental and well‑being needs in relation to learning and growth outcomes.
