If you want to help shape the future of Frankston, now is the time to join our team About the position Council’s Safer Communities Department is looking for a Parking Officer who will be responsible for position objective. Main responsibilities will include: Conduct regular patrols both throughout the municipality and issue infringement notices for parking breaches using Council's electronic infringement system in accordance with specific legislation. Respond to Council parking enforcement complaints within service delivery timeframes and Council guidelines. Provide an excellent standard of Customer Service by communicating with both members of the public and Council staff on matters regarding parking enforcement. Provide where necessary School Crossing supervision to ensure the safety of children and general public in accordance with Council regulations and relevant legislation. About you Ability to develop a broad understanding of the wider functions of Councils Parking Enforcement Services and operations. Well-developed verbal and written skills. Proven experience in regulatory, enforcement or similar role. Current Victorian Drivers Licence. This position is a Band 4A currently remunerated at $74,536.73 per annum, plus superannuation. Overtime will also be paid as required.
