About the Position We are looking to welcome a Program and Alliance Coordinator to lead a vital service supporting vulnerable families, coordinate referrals, build alliances, and drive impactful outcomes in Mackay. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the wellbeing of children and families. Level 7 SCHCADS Award. Salary range: $119,094 - $124,074 + Superannuation. Full time, Government funded position until 31 December 2026. Key Responsibilities Lead a team to deliver high quality outcomes within a performance planning and development culture. Manage intake, referral, and engagement processes to meet output and outcome requirements. Lead case consultations with team members in relation to risk management, enhancing quality practice and keeping the child in mind. Collaborate with the Regional Intake Service, regional Child Safety staff, and other Family and Child Connect services regarding the development of the Family and Child Connect model. You can read our full position description here under the relevant vacancy. About You A tertiary degree in a relevant discipline (Allied Health, Social Work, Human Services). Professional registration (if required). Membership of a relevant professional association (desirable). At least five (5) years’ experience managing a multidisciplinary team in a similar environment. Highly developed knowledge of child protection issues and the child protection sector in Queensland. Experienced in fostering collaborative relationships that support positive engagement with stakeholders and community groups. Cultural awareness and an understanding of how to communicate and work effectively with families from different socio-economic and cultural backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Other Requirements Eligibility for a Working with Children Check or professional exemption. Legal ability to work in Australia (proof of eligibility required).
