About Us At Genus Environmental, we pride ourselves on providing high-quality arboricultural services with a strong focus on safety and compliance. We are currently seeking dedicated and safety-conscious vegetation workers (e.g. HV Workers / Climbing Arborists / EWP Operators / Squirrel Operators / Chipper Truck Drivers) to join our team in the Perth Metro area. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a vital role that includes all facets of urban tree management. Key Responsibilities Actively maintain compliance with Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) standards, ensuring all tasks are completed in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner. Ensure strict adherence to relevant Codes of Practice for personnel including electrical safety when working around live power lines. Take personal responsibility for your health and safety, as well as the well-being of your colleagues on site. Deliver work that meets contractual obligations, company standards, and customer expectations. Proactively identify hazards and stop work if any uncontrolled risks are present, ensuring a safe working environment for all. Collaborate with supervisors to ensure all work meets high-quality standards and customer specifications. Maintain a high level of professionalism in your work and appearance while ensuring that the site remains clean and organized. Conduct thorough pre-start checks on all vehicles, machinery, and equipment to ensure safe operations on-site. What We're Looking For Highly aware of safety and electrical risks, with a commitment to following strict safety protocols. Eye for detail and always ensure work is completed to the highest standard. Take initiative when identifying and resolving safety issues, keeping the site secure for everyone. Work well with supervisors and fellow workers to maintain high standards of performance and safety. Experience & Qualifications First Aid / CPR Certification Construction White Card Cert II in ESI - Powerline Vegetation Control (UET*****) EDD - UETTDRRF08 / EWP Rescue - UETDRRF002 Chainsaw Ticket Experience working near live power lines is advantageous.
